Softball Recap: Deerfield-Windsor Takes a Loss

Deerfield-Windsor fell victim to Southland Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Raiders. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost four in a row.

Deerfield-Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Southland Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Deerfield-Windsor is taking a road trip to take on Flint River Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southland Academy, they will challenge Brookstone at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season.
