Basketball Game Preview: Western Christian Fighting Lancers vs. Perris Panthers

The Western Christian Fighting Lancers and the Perris Panthers will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.

Western Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Hemet on Thursday. Western Christian lost to Hemet on the road by a 40-26 margin. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 881st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Perris didn't have too much trouble with Vista del Lago on Thursday as they won 38-24.

Western Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Perris, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
