Basketball Recap: Xavier Educational Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Ischool of Lewisville

On Tuesday, Xavier Educational Academy faced iSchool of Lewisville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Xavier Educational Academy fell to the iSchool of Lewisville Cougar 58-54. Xavier Educational Academy's loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

ISchool of Lewisville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Romiel Carter, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 12 points and three blocks. Another player making a difference was David Iweze, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points and six rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Xavier Educational Academy fell to 8-1. As for iSchool of Lewisville, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1.
