Buford waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Wolves who were credited with the win. For they, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory Pinecrest Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2019.

Buford pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Pinecrest Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-5.

Buford and Pinecrest Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. Wolves will face off against Lambert at 8:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (148 vs. 9). Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy (ranked 84th) will meet Norcross (ranked third) at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
