Basketball Recap: South Iredell Takes a Loss

South Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 73-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of the A.L. Brown Wonders. The Vikings lost against the Wonders in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 86-43 score last time.

South Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for A.L. Brown, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12.

When South Iredell and A.L. Brown next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. South Iredell will take on Lake Norman and their six-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, A.L. Brown will try to stop Mooresville's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
