            Softball Recap: Fairview Knights vs. Holy Family Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Fairview extended their losing streak  to four  on Tuesday, dropping them down to 7-13. They lost  14-0 to the Holy Family Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the  14-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
As for Holy Family, their victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-3. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 11 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
For Holy Family's part,  Carly Tooley was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over four innings pitched. Tooley has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI and one  run. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Lauren Delgado was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double. Those  RBI were  her first of the season.  Aaliyah Hill was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Looking ahead, Fairview will head out on the road to  face off against  Northfield  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Holy Family, they will be playing at home against Longmont  at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.1  runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
