Basketball Game Preview: High Tech NC Raptor vs. High Tech Mesa Thunder

The High Tech NC Raptor will square off against the High Tech Mesa Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, High Tech NC didn't have quite enough to beat Ocean View Christian and fell 21-18. The Raptor have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, High Tech Mesa ended up a good deal behind San Diego Academy on Tuesday and lost 48-32. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

High Tech Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for High Tech NC, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

High Tech NC couldn't quite get it done against High Tech Mesa in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 38-25. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Thunder's Sofia Salazar, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and six steals.
