Football Recap: Los Lunas Comes Up Short on the Road Against Roswell

Los Lunas had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They received a blow as they fell 27-8 to the Roswell Coyotes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 34-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Kaiden Reese threw for 187 yards on 13 of 20 attempts. Tayson Gaxiola was his top target, picking up 87 receiving yards. On the ground, Jagger Casillias rushed for 57 yards.

Los Lunas will face off against Cleveland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roswell, they will square off against Alamogordo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
