Bishop Neumann strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Ponca Indians as they made off with an 8-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cavaliers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bishop Neumann let Isabelle Stuhr and Aubrey Fujan run wild. Stuhr went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Fujan went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Stuhr has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lauren Sund, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Bishop Neumann always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ponca only posted an OBP of .261.

Bishop Neumann's record now sits at 5-0. As for Ponca, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Bishop Neumann will challenge Aquinas at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers' pitcher better be ready for this one: the Monarchs have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Ponca, they will take on Roncalli Catholic in a tournament on Saturday.
