Soccer Recap: Alburnett Triumphs

It was close, but on Thursday the Alburnett Pirates sidestepped the Columbus Sailors for a 2-1 win.

Alburnett now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Columbus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alburnett will challenge Wapello at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus, they will take on Tripoli at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
