Softball Recap: Clinch County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Clinch County's offense. They came up short against the Wheeler County Bulldogs on Monday, falling 11-0. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Panthers, who until this game were averaging 3.86 runs allowed.

The defeat snapped Clinch County's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-7 record. As for Wheeler County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
