Soccer Recap: Drew Has No Trouble Against Mays

Drew's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mays Raiders. Drew might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Anthony Reyes and Jesus Guererro scored all three of Drew's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Drew is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matchups. Mays is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Drew will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Pace Academy at 8:00 p.m. Pace Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Drew surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mays, they are taking a road trip to take on Douglass at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
