Softball Game Preview: Earlsboro Wildcats vs. Macomb Hornets

The Earlsboro Wildcats will face off against the Macomb Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Earlsboro is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Monday. They never let New Lima get on the board and left with a 10-0 win.

Meanwhile, Macomb had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 19-6 margin over Maud. The Hornets not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 29, 2024 (when they won 18-0).

Earlsboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Macomb when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
