Worth County put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Bainbridge Bearcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 last Tuesday.

Colby Griffis was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Brady Weaver also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Worth County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Worth County's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bainbridge, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Worth County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 loss against Crisp County on the 20th. As for Bainbridge, they have also already played their next game, a 10-9 defeat against Leon on the 20th.
