Preview: Crystal Springs Uplands vs. Harker
Crystal Springs Uplands and Harker are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but likely not for long. The Crystal Springs Uplands Gryphons have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Harker Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on February 14th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Crystal Springs Uplands kept a clean sheet against Mercy. Everything went their way against the Bears as they made off with a 5-0 win. Given Crystal Springs Uplands' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 191st, while Mercy is ranked 626th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Harker sidestepped Notre Dame for a 1-0 win. The victory was just what Harker needed coming off of a 4-0 loss in their prior matchup.

Crystal Springs Uplands' win bumped their record up to 11-1-2. As for Harker, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-2.
Crystal Springs Uplands came up short against Harker when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 3-1. Can Crystal Springs Uplands avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
