Softball Recap: South Central Calhoun Comes Up Short

South Central Calhoun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Southeast Valley Jaguars, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-1 back in May.

South Central Calhoun's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Southeast Valley, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-8 record.

Looking ahead, South Central Calhoun will face off against Emmetsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Southeast Valley has already played their next match (against Iowa Falls-Alden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
