Softball Recap: Washington-Wilkes Tigers vs. Lincoln County Red Devils

Washington-Wilkes came out on top against Lincoln County on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Tigers walked away with a 6-3 win over the Red Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in August.

Kennedy Danner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.
