Poly and Paloma Valley are an even 4-4-1 against one another since January of 2019, but likely not for long. The Bears will take on the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Poly is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Arlington on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Poly's goal came courtesy of Saydee Salcedo, who's now up to 20 this season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Paloma Valley took on Canyon Springs on Friday. The Wildcats never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Poly's draw gives them a new season record of 11-5-1. As for Paloma Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5-3.

Poly beat Paloma Valley 2-0 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
