Baseball Recap: Lindbergh Comes Up Short

Lindbergh lost to Vianney back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Flyers fell just short of the Golden Griffins by a score of 2-1.

Jack Politte made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Lindbergh's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-17-2. As for Vianney, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Lindbergh nor Vianney have any future games scheduled.
