Soccer Recap: Natomas Comes Up Short

Natomas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Casa Roble Rams. The Nighthawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Natomas' loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Casa Roble, the win got them back to even at 3-3-3.

Natomas will head out on the road to face off against Dixon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Casa Roble, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rio Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Casa Roble's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
