Basketball Recap: Granite Hills Grizzlies vs. Lindsay Cardinals

Granite Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 61-43 bruising from the Lindsay Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-23 back in January.

Melanie Navarro was her usual excellent self, putting up 31 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals for Lindsay. The dominant performance gave Navarro a new career-high in points. Brianna Jara was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Granite Hills' record now sits at 6-15. As for Lindsay, their record is now 12-13.

Coming up, Granite Hills will look to defend their home court on Monday against Strathmore at 6:30 p.m. Strathmore will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Granite Hills surely won't give up without a fight. We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up.
