It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Crisp County had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Shaw Raiders as they made off with a 12-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Crisp County's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-12. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Shaw, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-13.

Crisp County will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
