Football Game Preview: Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans vs. Wyoming Area Warriors + How To Watch

Greater Nanticoke Area hasn't had much luck against Wyoming Area recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Greater Nanticoke Area has given up an average of 47.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Greater Nanticoke Area is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a blow against Honesdale on Friday, falling 56-21.

Meanwhile, Wyoming Area owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They blew past Lake-Lehman 28-0. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Greater Nanticoke Area better keep an eye on Nick Ciampi. He was instrumental in Wyoming Area's win, rushing for 108 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. Trustin Johnson helped out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards.

The win made it two in a row for Wyoming Area and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Greater Nanticoke Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Greater Nanticoke Area was taken down by Wyoming Area 50-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024.
