Baseball Recap: Duluth Takes a Loss

Duluth lost against Peachtree Ridge last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell 5-2 to the Lions. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Duluth saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jorge Cepdeda, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Duluth's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Peachtree Ridge, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Duluth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against Parkview on the 28th. As for Peachtree Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 win against Berkmar on the 28th.
