Basketball Recap: Antelope Valley Skates Past Palmdale Academy Charter School with Ease

Antelope Valley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They really took it to the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-24 victory. The Antelopes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Antelope Valley had a senior duo take command as Leandriah Zachary posted 21 points and Ariana Soil put up 17 points. Soil's evening made it 26 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nacarra Kennedy, who earned nine points.

Antelope Valley's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Antelope Valley has already played their next game, a 63-50 victory against Lancaster on the 14th. Palmdale Academy Charter School has also already played their next match (against Mojave), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
