Basketball Recap: Vistamar Find Success

Vistamar's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators out 29-26. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since November 30, 2023.

Vistamar's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Hawthorne Math & Science Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-1 record.

Vistamar won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Geffen Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hawthorne Math & Science Academy, they will be playing at home against WISH Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. WISH Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Hawthorne Math & Science Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
