Bishop O'Dowd had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons who were credited with the win on Tuesday. The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Del Oro Golden Eagles's four. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Dragons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked third).
