Soccer Recap: Richwoods Comes Up Short

Richwoods managed to keep up with Peoria Notre Dame until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Knights came up short against the Irish, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Richwoods can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 128th, while Peoria Notre Dame are ranked 42nd).

Richwoods' loss dropped their record down to 8-5-2. As for Peoria Notre Dame, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-2.

Coming up, Richwoods will be playing in front of their home fans against Bloomington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they will take on Saint Thomas Aquinas in a tournament on Thursday.
