Baseball Recap: Fullington Academy Takes a Loss

The Fullington Academy Trojans lost 19-2 to the Deerfield-Windsor Knights on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fullington Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brock Wetherington, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Wetherington hit this season. Bryson Faulk was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Fullington Academy's record now sits at 1-8. As for Deerfield-Windsor, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fullington Academy will welcome Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deerfield-Windsor, they will host Terrell Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
