Soccer Game Preview: Rio Americano vs. Christian Brothers

Rio Americano and Christian Brothers are an even 3-3-4 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Rio Americano Raiders will be playing at home against the Christian Brothers Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Rio Americano is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came up short against Inderkum on Thursday, falling 6-3. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Raiders were already down 5-1.

Meanwhile, Christian Brothers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Bella Vista.

Christian Brothers' defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-3. As for Rio Americano, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4-2.

Rio Americano was able to grind out a solid win over Christian Brothers in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-0. Will Rio Americano repeat their success, or does Christian Brothers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
