It was another big night for Mariana Vega, who dropped a triple-double on 24 points, 15 rebounds, and ten assists. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last 18 games she's played. Jaida Bosch was another key player, going 7 for 14 on her way to 16 points and four steals.
Cibola smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Kofa waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Sidewinders 41-25. That's two games straight that the Kings have won by exactly 16 points.
Cibola better keep an eye on Amani Montiel. She was instrumental in Kofa's win, going 9 of 16 en route to 24 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Montiel has scored at least a third of Kofa's points. Another player making a difference was Madison DeBoe, who posted eight points along with six steals and five boards.
