It's playoff time, and Shasta had no trouble coming through when it counted. They snuck past the Chico Panthers with a 64-58 victory on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on six straight.

Shasta was led to victory by Cali Soule and Bria Tate. Soule posted 15 points, while Tate earned 15 points. Another player making a difference was Ava Mena, who put up nine points.

Chico's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayleigh Solano, who en route to 25 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The dominant performance gave Solano a new career-high in steals. Corrina Stephens was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and 16 boards.

Shasta's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Chico, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-13.

As of now, neither Shasta nor Chico have any future games scheduled.
