Soccer Recap: Cook Takes a Loss

Cook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Atkinson County Rebels, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Cook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Atkinson County are ranked 82nd).

Cook's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Atkinson County, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Cook will welcome Berrien at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Atkinson County, they will venture away from home to challenge Thomasville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomasville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Atkinson County surely won't give up without a fight.
