Softball Recap: George-Little Rock Comes Up Short

George-Little Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Sioux Falcons. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for West Sioux, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

George-Little Rock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against South O'Brien on the 20th. As for West Sioux, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 loss against Lawton-Bronson on the 19th.
