Volleyball Recap: Stuart Gets the Win

The Stuart Broncos beat the Newman Grove/St. Edward Panthers 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Stuart got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-21, 28-30, 25-23.

Paityn Sheffield paced Stuart's offense, picking up 18 kills. Sheffield got some help from Kyra Tubbs and her 28 assists. Finally, Kemberlyn Kohle and Ali Wondercheck kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked four attacks.

Stuart's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Newman Grove/St. Edward, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.

Stuart has already played their next matchup (against Osmond), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Newman Grove/St. Edward, they will head out to challenge Riverside on Monday.
