Fairmont Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines by a score of 63-56 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three games in a row.

Fairmont Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maria Mejia out in front who went 5-for-8 en route to 14 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sarah Aldeguer, who shot 41% from the field on her way to 19 points and seven boards.

Fairmont Prep pushed their record up to 23-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Harvard-Westlake, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 24-8.

Fairmont Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-55 defeat against Windward on the 8th. Harvard-Westlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
