Basketball Game Preview: Prince George's Christian Academy Flyers vs. iSchool of Lewisville Cougar

The Prince George's Christian Academy Flyers will face off against the iSchool of Lewisville Cougar at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Prince George's Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.

Prince George's Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Our Saviour Lutheran on Sunday. Prince George's Christian Academy fell just short of Our Saviour Lutheran by a score of 62-59.

Meanwhile, iSchool of Lewisville entered their tilt with Tennessee Preparatory Academy on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Diplomat Lions 93-62. The Cougar have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Prince George's Christian Academy better focus on containing Wyatt Seale and Mario Wooden as the pair were huge in iSchool of Lewisville's win. Seale almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds, while Wooden went 9 of 12 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Townsend, who went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points.

ISchool of Lewisville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2023.

ISchool of Lewisville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points per game. As for Prince George's Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Prince George's Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against iSchool of Lewisville in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 69-65 win. Will Prince George's Christian Academy repeat their success, or does iSchool of Lewisville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
