Softball Recap: Echols County Takes a Loss

Echols County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Atkinson County Rebels. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 17-1.

Echols County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Atkinson County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Echols County will head out to square off against Valwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Atkinson County, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Brooks County at 6:00 p.m.
