Basketball Recap: Mesa Grande Academy Takes a Loss

Mesa Grande Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 54-26 loss at the hands of the Columbia Adventist Academy Kodiaks. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 1144th in California, while the Kodiaks are ranked 325th in Washington).

Mesa Grande Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mesa Grande Academy will take on Redlands Adventist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Adventist Academy, they will square off against Oakville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
