Audubon had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Newell-Fonda Mustangs.

Audubon's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Newell-Fonda, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 19-10.

Looking ahead, Audubon will be playing in front of their home fans against Coon Rapids-Bayard at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newell-Fonda, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Exira-EHK on the 1st.
