Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-0 to the Western Dubuque Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 on Monday.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Western Dubuque, the win (which was their tenth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Coming up, Jefferson will take on Xavier at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Western Dubuque, they will head out to face off against Pleasant Valley at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th.
