Santa Fe faced St. Pius X in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Demons lost 4-1 to the Sartans. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Santa Fe couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Khanothai Stitt, who's now up to two this season.

Santa Fe now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Pius X, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-2.

Coming up, Santa Fe will play host again on Thursday to welcome Hobbs, where kickoff is scheduled at 12:00 p.m. As for St. Pius X, they will square off against Albuquerque Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
