After losing to West Mifflin the last time they met, Belle Vernon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Belle Vernon Leopards made off with a 49-48 victory over the West Mifflin Titans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Leopards.

Belle Vernon's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for West Mifflin, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
