Soccer Game Preview: North Oconee vs. Cedar Shoals

The North Oconee Titans will take on the Cedar Shoals Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

North Oconee managed to keep up with Clarke Central until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. North Oconee lost 3-0 to Clarke Central. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Gladiators are ranked 11th).

Meanwhile, Cedar Shoals came up short against East Forsyth on Friday and fell 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.

North Oconee's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Cedar Shoals, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
