Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Titans vs. Colton Yellowjackets
The Notre Dame Titans had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against Colton by a score of 43-35. This was payback for Notre Dame, who suffered a 52-36 loss the last time these two teams met.
When it comes to explaining why Colton lost, one person who can't be blamed is Savannah Govea. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jasmine Jimenez, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds.
Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Colton, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-6.
Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Colton also has no future games currently scheduled.
