Eastlake skates past Southwest EC with ease

Recap: Eastlake Titans vs. Southwest EC Eagles

The Eastlake Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Southwest EC at home to the tune of 87-28. The result was nothing new for Eastlake, who have now won four matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.

Leading Eastlake to victory were Catrice Chan and Jordyn Worley. Chan scored 16 points along with four steals, while Worley dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Worley has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 11 times she's played. Mia Jones was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Eastlake's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Southwest EC, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Eastlake won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023. Hopefully Liberty focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Thursday. Southwest EC and Hampton will face off on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hampton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southwest EC in their respective states (Hampton is ranked 422nd in Pennsylvania, while Southwest EC is ranked 975th in California).
