Soccer Game Preview: Metamora vs. Dunlap

Metamora hasn't had much luck against Dunlap recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Redbirds will head out to take on the Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, Metamora came up short against East Moline United and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, Dunlap had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Knights as they made off with a 4-1 win. Dunlap might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Metamora's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-3. As for Dunlap, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2-2.

Metamora might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Dunlap in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Redbirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
