Softball Recap: Rockdale County Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Rockdale County's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Archer Tigers on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 on Thursday.

Rockdale County's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Archer, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockdale County will challenge Newton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Archer, they will face off against Jackson County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
