Softball Recap: Hartville Takes a Loss

Hartville was the 3-1 winner over Norwood when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Pirates since Thursday.

Hartville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norwood, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hartville will venture away from home to face off against Dixon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norwood, they will head out to square off against Van Buren at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
