Softball Recap: Charles City Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Charles City's offense. They came up short against the Muscatine Muskies on Saturday, falling 8-0. The Comets just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Charles City's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Muscatine, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charles City will square off against Grundy Center at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Muscatine, they will welcome Bettendorf at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
